What is Redact Content?
Redaction permanently removes sensitive information from a PDF — names, addresses, account numbers, Social Security numbers — replacing the content with a solid black block that conceals the original text and images completely.
Select the areas to redact by drawing rectangles over the content. The redaction is applied to the PDF structure itself, not just a visual overlay — the underlying text and images are removed from the file, not just covered.
